Tour to the Humantay Lake

The Humantay Lake is one of the most impressive destinations in Cusco, located at 4,200 meters above sea level. This turquoise water lagoon has become a very popular place for tourists, especially for those trekking to the Salkantay. If you decide to visit it, a moderate hike and a spectacular view from the top of a nearby mountain await you.

Tour Itinerary: The day begins at 04:00 a.m. with pick up from your hotel in Cusco. We will travel by bus for about 2.5 hours until we reach the village of Mollepata, where we will enjoy breakfast. Then, we will head to Soraypampa, from where we will begin a 1.5 to 2 hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon. Once there, you can enjoy the scenery, take pictures and then return to Mollepata for lunch. Finally, we will return to Cusco, arriving around 18:30 hrs.
